As the name indicates the guiding spirit behind this institution is Sree Narayana Guru, whose sole aim was to up lift the poor and the downtrodden and the untouchables to live as decent human beings. ‘One Caste, One Religion, One God for man was the catch word coined by him and its eco resounds all over the world. Sree Narayana Guru stressed the need for education in order to achieve enlightenment.

The age old values of Indian culture, its impact on the sanctity of human life, self discipline, self respect, love and consideration of others will be installed into the pupils mind along with the modern concept of liberalism, socialism and equality of man.
